29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): The employer does not protect employees from falling when engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels. This violation occurred on or about December 20, 2013, and at times prior thereto at the job site where employees were exposed to fall hazards when engaged in residential construction activities that was more than 6 feet above lower levels without a fall protection system. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees are protected from falls when working 6 feet or more above lower levels.
