Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.151(a): Medical personnel were not readily available for advice and consultation on matters of plant health: On or about November 27, 2013, employees of Branscum and Sons Logging were repairing a Timberjack Model 840 tree feller/buncher at the job site located on Sugarloaf Tower Road near Calico Rock, Arkansas. The company did not have medical personnel readily available for consultation to provide advice during a medical emergency involving an employee suffering who had been crushed by a tree felling assembly. This condition exposed the employee to the hazard of not receiving life saving medical care in the event of an emergency.
