29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. On or about October 30, 2013, at 1458 Mill Pointe Court, Lawrenceville, Georgia: An employee performing brick masonry work from a tubular welded frame scaffold was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 15-feet when the employer did not inform the employee how to recognize and minimize fall hazards while working on scaffolds.
