OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to thermal burns during steaming operations to clean tubing: Nadel & Gussman Tap #2 well, Ponca City, OK: On or about July 11, 2013, the employer did not provide pre-job instructions to the crew before assigning the task of steaming tubing exposing employees to the hazard of thermal burns.
