29 CFR 1917.45(k)(2): A designated person did not thoroughly inspect all functional components and accessible structural features of each crane or derrick at monthly intervals. (a) On or about July 16, 2013 the inspection revealed that employees were potentially exposed to serious injury because the jib hoist was not inspected on a monthly basis and had damaged wire rope and exposed live electrical parts. Located at 16273 Lower Harbor Road in Brookings, Oregon.
