29 CFR 1926.652(b)(1)(ii): Slopes specified in paragraph (b)(1)(i) of this section, shall be excavated to form configurations that are in accordance with the slopes shown for Type C soil in Appendix B to this subpart. Coast Guard Housing Area, Lifesaver Drive; on or about 24 June 2013 and times prior thereto; the employer did not configure excavation for type C soil. This condition exposed employees to caught-under hazards.
