29 CFR 1910.145(e)(4): Biological hazard signs. The biological hazard warning were not used to signify the actual or potential presence of a biohazard and to identify containers, rooms, materials or combinations thereof, which contain, or are contaminated with, viable hazardous agents. a) New York Presbyterian Hospital - Bldg. 161 2nd floor room 227- The door to the room, although lock and with limited acces, did not have a sign indicating the presence of potentiall biohazards material. The condition was noted on or about 06/25/13 NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASEFILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
