29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3): When work was to be performed near overhead lines, the lines were not de-energized and grounded, nor were other protective measures provided before work was started. On June 24, 2013 protective measures were not taken prior to employees performing tree trimming operations near energized distribution lines, exposing employees to the hazards associated with electrical shock or electrocution. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
