29 CFR 1910.23(a)(1): Every stairway floor opening was not guarded by a standard railing constructed in accordance with paragraph (e) of this section on all exposed sides (except at the entrance to the stairway): a) Reliable Castings Corporation - Sidney, OH: On or about September 17, 2013, employees working in the heat treat area were exposed to falls of approximately 6.5ft in that the stairway floor opening located in the northwest corner was not guarded by a standard guardrail in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.23(e).
