29 CFR 1910.269(c): "Job briefing." The employer shall ensure that the employee in charge conducts a job briefing with the employees involved before they start each job. The briefing shall cover at least the following subjects: hazards associated with the job, work procedures involved, special precautions, energy source controls, and personal protective equipment requirements. New Limerick Jobsite - The job briefing involving the hazards associated with the job, work procedures involved, special precautions, energy source controls, and personal protective equipment requirements was inadequate. On or about 06/21/2013, a Second Class "A" Lineman who responded to a residential power outage at approximately 9:00 PM, was electrocuted when his left shoulder contacted a hanging energized 14,400 volt primary wire in an overgrown wooded area.
