29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) On or about 06/30/13 - Maintenance shop, the Index milling and drilling machine did not have a spindle guard installed. (b) On or about 06/30/13 - Maintenance shop, the Manhattan pedestal drill press did not have a chuck guard installed. (c) On or about 06/30/13 - Maintenance shop, the MSC band saw did not have a guard installed for the unused portion of blade below the work table.
