29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: Location: Plant A, 30 Edmond Street, Hamden, CT 06517 Manual Insulated Line: a) The Makita LS1030N 10 inch miter saw used to cut the metal window frames was powered by an orange SJTW 16 AWG/3G flexible cord run underneath the work table and plugged into a two outlet, 120 volt receptacle/outlet. b) The Besten Incorporated Glass Pressure Machine on Line #2 used to compress the insulated glass panels was powered by a 50 foot long black and orange extension cord ran across the walkway between line #1 and line #2 to a two outlet receptacle located underneath the pressure machine of Line #1.
