29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(5)(i): Non-self-supporting ladders were not used at an angle such that the horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladder was approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder (the distance along the ladder between the foot and the top support). The employer does not use non-self-supporting ladders at an angle such that the horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladder is approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder (the distance along the ladder between the foot and top support). This violation occurred at a workplace located at 11976 E. Main Street, Frisco, were non-self- supporting ladders were placed inside trench boxes at near vertical angles: 1. January 28, 2013, a Werner 24-foot ladder. 2. February 11, 2013, a Werner 16-foot ladder. 3. February 14, 2013, a Werner 16-foot ladder.
