29 CFR 1910.307(c): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location: a) Work Shop: The shop which was used to hand and spray paint boats was found to be a class I division I area, and was equipped with non-explosion proof electrical fixtures and equipment such as; 15 sets of fluorescent lighting, 12 receptacle outlets and 3 light switches, portable fans, extension cords and battery chargers. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED
