29 CFR 1910.335(b): Alerting techniques were not employed to warn and protect employees from hazards which could cause injury due to electric shock, burns, or failure of electric equipment parts: Well site: On or about December 3, 2012, employees rigging up (erecting) a pole type service rig to repair an oil/gas well were not provided with any alerting means such as signs, barricades, or a warning attendant to identify the proxiity of overhead power lines. This exposed them to the hazard of electrical shock.
