29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3)(i)(B): When an unqualified person was working on the ground in the vicinity of overhead lines, the person brought a conductive object closer to unguarded, energized overhead lines than the distances given in paragraph (c)(3)(i)(A) of this section: a) On September 22, 2012, at the billboard worksite located at 11603 U.S Highway 19N in Thomasville, GA, the employer failed to ensure that a 36-ft. aluminum extension ladder that was being moved by an unqualified person working on the ground did not come in contact with an energized and unguarded 7500-volt power line, exposing the employee to electrocution. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION ARE REQUIRED.
