29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Agriculture Reference: 1928.21(a)(5)) On or about September 11, 2012, employees were exposed to chemical hazards when the employer did not provide employees information on the location of the hazard communication program and MSDS, and provide employee training. Employee working in vehicle maintenance was exposed to chemicals such as, but not limited to, oil, grease, transmission fluid, antifreeze, and diesel fluid.
