29 CFR 1910.243(b)(2): Air Hose and hose connections used for conducting compressed air to utilization equipment were not designed for the pressure and service to which they are subjected. On August 15, 2012, and at times prior thereto, in the Automotive shop employees were using air hoses where handles had been attached with screw clamps and/or air supply was blocked by a pair of vice grips. Exposing employees to struck-by hazard.
