North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a struck by hazard: a)within the facility, the 120 psi compressed air line was connected to the oil reservoir which was rated at a maximum of 40 psi on the Super Eagle Products Fluid Evacuation System, 20 gallon with bowl and oil drain. NOTE: The reservoir was equipped with a warning label stating "WARNING - Work Pressure do not exceed 40PSI". Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to reduce the air pressure on the line connected to the oil reservoir to less than or equal to 40 psi.
