North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to contact with electricity: a)establishment, migrant housing, The Frank Place - 4 duplex outlets, 120 VAC, in the living/sleeping area were not provided with covers. ABATEMENT NOTE: 1)Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct the hazard is to install electrical wiring and fittings in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70A.
