Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: On or about September 23, 2009, and prior thereto, at the worksite located at 951 Fox Chase Drive, Greers Ferry, AR, for the protection of employees working at the site, the employer failed to ensure that employees did not work under mobile homes which were supported only by Norco brand 12-ton bottle jacks, Model #76512. This practice is prohibited by ASME B30.1-2009, Section 1-2.9.4(b). Employees were exposed to crushed-by/or and struck-by hazards.
