Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not provide employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that: (a)On or about June 19, 2009, an employee was exposed to the hazards of contact with hot surfaces when entering flooded steam tunnels located at MacArthur Sq. Parking/841 N. James Lovell St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Among others, a feasible and useful method to correct these hazards is for employees to wear appropriate personal protective equipment for each entry into the tunnels. Certification, and documentation/evidence of abatement is required. Certification of abatement is required by 29 CFR Part 1903 and is to be submitted within ten (10) calendar days after the abatement date.ment
