An employee was fatally injured when struck by a blow down tree on June 6, 2007, there was no way to call for emergency services from the accident location. These devices may include: 1.Use the Bendix King Radios that Bureau of Indian Affairs and Fort Apache Timber Company employees use on a regular basis to communicate from remote logging areas down to their home bases. 2.Use a satellite phone that provides service from the remote logging site down to Whiteriver.
