Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001A Hazard: UNAPOPPROC
Section 5(A)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: On or about 06/13/06, on the north side of the worksite, an employee was exposed to a stack of approximately 20 scaffold type shoring frames that were standing on end vertically and were not secured. Among other methods of abatement, one feasible and acceptable method to correct the hazard is to implement a safety policy requiring the storage of shoring frames in a horizontal position and secured. PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
