Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Drilling Rig #18: Vehicles belonging to the crew members were parked within 25 feet of the drilling rig floor, exposing employees to the hazard of fire. AMONG OTHER METHODS FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHODS TO CORRECT HAZARD IS: To comply with the recommended practice for Occupational Safety for Oil and Gas Well Drilling and Servicing procedures in the American Petroleum Institute (API) Number 54, Paragraph 6.1.15., dated August 1999
