(b) When raising or lowering the steel beam/cradle utilize the designed jacking points. (c) Utilize hydraulic jacks that are in serviceable and good working condition, including proper fluid levels, and inspected regularly. (d)When placing a jack on cribbing or blocking, follow the manufacturer's recommendations to build a stable secure support base. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19(d), the employer must abate this hazard within five calendar days and provide documentation that this violation has been abated within 15 working days of the date received.
