A.R.S. 23-403.A.: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees in that adequate protection of a conductor from physical damage was not provided as required in the 1990 National Electrical Code (NEC) Section 300-4. (a) Attic Crawl Space Area, 338 E. Morningside Road, Green Valley, AZ: An HVAC duct was installed directly over a non-metallic sheathed cable which was run over the wooden joists in the attic crawl space area and the non-metallic sheathed cable was not protected from physical damage from the HVAC duct work.
