29 CFR 1910.1024(e)(2)(i): The employer did not identify each beryllium work area through signs or any other methods that adequately establish and inform each employee of the boundaries of each beryllium work area: a. Finishing area - On or about February 11, 2025, copper alloy parts containing 1.936% beryllium was processed by grinding and polishing, and the employer did not adequately establish and inform employees of the boundaries of the beryllium work area. b. Saw cutting area - On or about February 11, 2025, an employee operating the Peerless automatic cut-off saw was exposed to an 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) of 0.11 micrograms per cubic meter (ug/m3) of beryllium which exceed the Action Level (AL) of 0.1 ug/m3, and the employer did not adequately establish and inform employees of the boundaries of the beryllium work area.
