29 CFR 1910.265(c)(4)(iv): Elevated platform(s), 4 feet or more from the floor level, were not provided with a standard railing: a) At the Brewer Saw area near the operator's cab: On or about 06/06/2024, and times prior to, the employer exposed employees to a fall hazard, in that employees working from a platform were exposed to a fall of 71 inches due to a damaged guard rail. Beasley Forest Products, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.265(c)(4)(iv), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1608068, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on 1/17/23, with respect to a workplace located at 712 Uvalda Hwy, Hazlehurst, GA 31539.
