29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1):Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section: (a)Mario Castillo at 27142 Park Lane Drive, Tea, SD 57064: On or about and at times prior to February 5, 2024, the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falls while conducting metal roofing operations while working from an unprotected scaffold platform on the east side eave of a commercial property. The employees were working from the elevated scaffold platform raised by a Ingersoll Rand Telehandler, Model number VR-642C, Serial number 190923 with no protective railing or personal fall protection systems. This condition exposed the employees to fall hazards greater than 10 feet. (a)Mario Castillo at 27142 Park Lane Drive, Tea, SD 57064: On or about and at times prior to February 5, 2024, the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falls while conducting metal roofing operations while working from an unprotected scaffold platform on the west side eave of a commercial property. The employees were working from the elevated scaffold platform raised by a Ingersoll Rand Telehandler, Model: VR-642C, Serial number: 188658 with no fall protection systems in place. This condition exposed the employees to fall hazards greater than 10 feet.
