29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1):Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c). a) Worksite, 1 Piper Lane, Head of Harbor, NY- Employee was working inside an approximately 40' long, 20' wide 18' deep excavation without protection from an adequate protective system exposing employees to a cave-in hazard; on or about 1/8/24. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
