29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks shall be examined before being placed in service and shall not be placed in service if the examination shows any condition adversely affecting the safety of the vehicle. Such examination shall be made at least daily. (a) 223 Park Avenue, Manalapan, NJ 07726: Employer failed to ensure the forklift used on site, Komatsu Forklift, model FG15ST-17 serial Number 6070210A was inspected for defects prior to operating same, observed on or about 12/30/2024. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
