29 CFR 1910.37(b)(4): If the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge is not immediately apparent, signs must be posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge. Additionally, the line-of-sight to an exit sign must clearly be visible at all times. (a) 223 Park Avenue, Manalapan, NJ 07726 Warehouse: Employees were exposed to delay in emergency evacuation. Exit signs were not visible from the center aisle in the work area. The exit sign was blocked by shelving and merchandise and unable to be seen from the aisle ways on or about 12/30/2023. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
