29 CFR 1915.82(c)(1): Where the only means of illumination on a vessel or vessel section was from lighting sources not part of the vessel or vessel section, the employer did not provide portable or emergency lights for the safe movement of each employee. On or about November 11, 2023, inside the Mo-Gas Tank 4C 9-182-1 of the USNS 1st Lt Jack Lummus, the tank did not have temporary lighting and the portable lighting being used was not adequate, exposing employees to a trip and fall hazard.
