29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): Except as elsewhere required or permitted by Subpart S of Part 1910, live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by use of approved cabinets or other forms of approved enclosures or by any of the means identified in paragraphs (A), (B), (C), and (D) of 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): (a) 3008 Penns Valley Road, Centre Hall, PA; Engine Room - On or about October 11, 2023, the 480VAC electrical panels doors and MCC bucket doors behind the rolling wall were not securely closed which exposed employees to an electrical shock hazard. (b) 3008 Penns Valley Road, Centre Hall, PA; Engine Room, Freezer C, Krack unit indicator panel - On or about October 11, 2023, the exposed light socket at the N02 and N03 indicator lights on the indicator panel were not guarded which exposed employees to an electrical shock hazard. (c) 3008 Penns Valley Road, Centre Hall, PA; Entre Room - On or about October 27, 2023, the E1-1 panel door inside the electrical closet was not securely closed which exposed employees to an electrical shock hazard. (d) 3008 Penns Valley Road, Centre Hall, PA; Wastewater Treatment Plant, Pump House - On or about October 30, 2023, MCC panel doors were not securely closed which exposed employees to an electrical shock hazard. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
