29 CFR 1910.269(c)(1)(ii): The employer did not ensure that the employee in charge conducts a job briefing that meets paragraphs (c)(2), (c)(3), and (c)(4) of this section with the employees involved before they start each job: a) On or about July 13, 2023, and at times prior, LND Technical Services, LLC, did not provide, at any point before or during work, a Substation 2-specific, pre-job briefing for employees that addressed the following items related to the scope of work: (1) hazards associated with the job; (2) work procedures involved; (3) special precautions; (4) energy-source controls; and (5) requirement for personal protective equipment. This exposed employees to electrical hazards.
