Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) On or about June 28, 2023, employees were required to store, add, and pick material from an employer provided storage rack system which consisted of steel structural members in the form of a frame, post, and beams to form a bay. Employees were allowed to use all four platform levels of the storage rack system without permanent plaque(s) stating the maximum permissible load, and the maximum load per bay as required by the American National Standard Institute (ANSI). Feasible and acceptable abatement methods include, but are not limited to, comply with ANSI MH61.1:2012, pg. 2, section 1.4.2, Plaque.
