29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment: a) Worksite, 3 Floyd Brown Rd., Hadley New York: On or about May 17, 2023, employees were conducting tree felling work and did not have personal protective equipment such as eye & face protection and head protection. The employer did not assess the workplace for hazards associated with tree felling work exposing employees to struck-by hazards on face, eyes or head.
