29 CFR 1926.416(a)(3): The employer began work without determining by inquiry or direct observation, or by instruments, whether any part of an energized electric power circuit, exposed or concealed, is so located that the performance of the work may bring any person, tool, or machine into physical or electrical contact with the electric power circuit. The employer did not post warning signs and advise employees of the location of the circuit, hazards, and protective measures they need to take. a. On or about May 20, 2023, an employee was performing work activities next to energized circuits such as single phase 277-volt light fixtures. This exposed the employee to an electrical hazard. b.
