29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(5)(i): Non-self-supporting ladder(s) were not used at an angle such that the horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladder was approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder (the distance along the ladder between the foot and the top support: a) On or about May 3, 2023, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 9-feet 8-inches when they used an aluminum extension ladder with the foot of the ladder set approximately 7-feet from the top support of the ladder which is approximately 3/4 the working length of the ladder.
