29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about May 3, 2023, on the southeast side of the site, employees were performing roofing work at heights greater than six feet from the lower level on a roof with a pitch of approximately 6:12. Employees were wearing fall protection harnesses but were not anchored or tied into a fall protection system.
