29 CFR 1910.29(b)(2): The employer did not ensure that guardrail systems met the requirement that midrails, screens, mesh, intermediate vertical members, solid panels, or equivalent intermediate members that are installed between the walking-working surface and the top edge of the guardrail system as follows when there is not a wall or parapet that is at least 21 inches (53 cm) high: a) Establishment, 3 Rybka Road, PO Box 40,Stuyvesant Falls, NY - On or about 03/24/2023, for the employees working in the barn, there was no mid rail on the main stairs used to access the second floor at the start of the stairs. These stairs are used by employees as the main egress to the second floor.
