29 CFR 1910.25(b)(5)(i): The employer did not ensure that when a door or a gate opens directly on a stairway, a platform is provided, and the swing of the door or gate does not reduce the platform's effective usable depth to less than 20 inches (51 cm) for platforms installed before January 17, 2017; a) Establishment, 3 Rybka Road, PO Box 40, Stuyvesant Falls , NY - On or about 03/24/2023, On the rear exit door of barn, the employer did not ensure that when a door or a gate opens directly onto a stairway a platform is provided. Employees did not have a clear exit path to a platform from the rear of the barn as it led to a dog gate.
