29 CFR 1910.1053(f)(2)(i): The employer did not establish and implement a written exposure control plan: a) 3370 Drennan Industrial Loop North, Colorado Springs, CO 80910 (Colorado Ready Mix Plant): On or about June 23, 2023, and at times prior, employees were exposed to health hazards from silica dust. The employer failed to establish and implement a written exposure control plan for silica. The November 2022 silica monitoring report, performed by Travelers, indicated a Plant Operator was exposed to silica at more than three times OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit. Nothing was changed or improved to lower the exposure to silica at this facility.
