29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): A continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.95(c) through (n) was not instituted when employee noise exposures equaled or exceeded an 8-hour Time-Weighted Average (TWA) sound level of 85 dBA: a) At the Facility 115 Engineers Boulevard, Hauppauge NY 11778. On or about August 3rd, 2023 the employer did not institute a continuing and effective hearing conservation program for employees working in the Lamination, Press and Slitting Department who were exposed to noise levels above the 8-hour TWA of 85dBA. Note: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
