29 CFR 1910.333(c)(2): The employer did not ensure that only qualified persons worked on electric circuit parts or equipment that had not been deenergized under the procedures of paragraph (b) of this section. Such persons were not capable of working safely on energized circuits and were familiar with the proper use of special precautionary techniques, personal protective equipment, insulating and shielding materials, and insulated tools: On or about 16 Jan 2023, the employer required an employee to change out several ballasts and light bulbs from Halogen to LED and did not ensure the employee was a qualified person to work on electric circuit parts or equipment that had not been deenergized.
