29 CFR 1910.157(c)(4): Portable fire extinguishers were not maintained in a fully charged and operable condition: On or about January 11, 2023, and thereafter, employees engaged in sawmill activities at the worksite located at 33643 MO-6 Brashear, Missouri 63533 were exposed to fire hazards in that the employer did not ensure that fire extinguishers located within the workplace were fully charged. Instances include but are not limited to: Instance 1: A discharged fire extinguisher was mounted in the Grade Mill building for employee use. Instance 2: A discharged fire extinguisher was mounted in the Main building for employee use.
