29 CFR 1910.22(b): The employer did not ensure that each walking-working surface can support the maximum intended load for that surface. On or about January 11, 2023, and thereafter, employees engaged in sawmill activities at the worksite located at 33643 MO-6 Brashear, Missouri 63533 were exposed to fall and crushing hazards in that the employer did not ensure that the maximum intended load rating for an elevated surface was known. Employees were accessing an elevated platform with an unknown maximum intended load rating to gather belts for maintenance and to perform maintenance on an air compressor.
