29 CFR 1926.350(a)(1): Valve protection cap(s) were not in place on compressed gas cylinder(s): The employer does not ensure valve protection caps are in place on compressed gas cylinders. This violation was discovered on or about January 10, 2023; on the second floor, where at least two compressed gas cylinders that were not in use did not have the protective caps in place. Employees were exposed to fire hazards. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the requirement, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure valve protection caps are in place on compressed gas cylinders.
