29 CFR 1926.405(d): A panelboard was not dead front. The employer does not ensure panelboards are dead front. This violation was discovered on or about January 10, 2023; in the break shack, where the cover to the panel box providing power to the jobsite was removed, exposing employees to electrical hazards. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure employees are protected from hazards such as those created by exposure to live electrical parts.
